It started with wanting to live a healthier life.
Alec didn't start this because he saw a business opportunity. He started it because he needed it himself. In his 20s he dealt with gut problems, low energy — nothing dramatic, but enough to know something was off.
Eventually the answer came from the most obvious place: the food. He started cooking everything himself. Organic, seed oil free, dairy free, nut free, gluten free. Real, whole, clean ingredients. He felt better than he had in years, and the people around him noticed. Friends started eating his food, feeling the difference, and asking for more.
But not everyone had the time or the knowledge to cook like that themselves. When he looked around San Diego and found nothing he'd actually eat or recommend, he knew what he had to do. Primal Balance was born out of a friend's condo 8 years ago.
