Can I choose my meals?
Yes, you select your meals via your portal on our website. You have until Tuesday at 4pm to make selections. If we do not receive your selections by Tuesday at 4pm you are assigned the chefs choice. [HERE] is a link on how to use our ordering system.
When will I be charged for my meals?
Meal plans are billed weekly prior to your scheduled delivery. Charges cover the upcoming delivery cycle, including any add-ons or adjustments made after your initial signup. Weekly billing is Wednesday @5am weekly.
Can I pause or skip weeks on my meal plan?
Yes. You may skip any upcoming delivery week by submitting a request through our skip page before the weekly deadline of Wednesday at 4 PM.
You can access the skip page from your online client portal under “Skip Schedule.”

Skip requests must be submitted through the skip page to ensure they are processed correctly.
How long does my meal plan last?
Our meal plans are recurring weekly, providing continuous healthy meal delivery. You can pause, skip, or cancel your subscription at any time before the weekly modification deadline Wednesday at 4pm.
Can I select more meals than my meal plan?
Yes. You’re welcome to select additional meals beyond your weekly plan. Any extra meals you add will simply be billed individually based on your current meal plan pricing.
What time will my delivery arrive?
Deliveries are completed by our third-party delivery partners between approximately 4pm-8pm (Sundays) 5pm-8pm (Thursdays). You'll receive text updates on hours prior to your delivery with an estimated time and another text message once your meals are in route with a live tracking link for your driver.
Do I need to be home for delivery?
No. Meals are safely packaged and can be left at your door for up to 2 hours. You’ll receive delivery notifications once your order has arrived.
How long can my delivery sit outside once delivered?
Your meal bag can sit out for 2 hours in our insulated recyclable bags.
Can I change my delivery days?
We currently deliver on Sundays starting at 3pm and Wednesdays starting at 5pm, and the menus for each delivery day are different and cannot be transferred between days.
Smaller meal plans are delivered on Sundays, while larger meal plans (10 meals or more) may select meals from either the Sunday or Wednesday menu.
Can I pick up my meals?
At this time we do not offer meal pickups. Our kitchen operates as a production facility and is not set up for customer pickups.
Do you charge a delivery fee?
Delivery is free for San Diego County residents.
The delivery fee outside of San Diego County is $10.00 per delivery.
How do I make changes to my meal plan?
If you’d like to make changes to your meal plan, simply email us at support@primalbalancenutrition.com and let us know what you’d like updated.
We’re happy to adjust your meal count, delivery schedule, or subscription details at any time.
What is the deadline to modify or pause my meal plan for the upcoming week?
The deadline to modify or pause your meal plan is by Wednesday @4pm for the following Monday's delivery.
What happens if I don’t select my meals by the deadline?
If meal selections are not submitted by Wednesday at 4 PM, your order will automatically default to Chef’s Choice for that delivery week, unless a skip request has been submitted.
Chef’s Choice includes a balanced variety of meals while honoring any dietary notes listed on your account.
How do I cancel my meal plan?
You can click to cancel by logging into your customer portal.
Cancellations must be received by Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. to stop the upcoming week’s service.
If the cancellation is received past this time you will still be charged and receive the upcoming weeks meals.
Are your meals allergen free?
At Primal Balance Nutrition, all of our meals are free of tree nuts, peanuts, dairy, gluten, soy, and shellfish. While we strive to be as allergen-friendly as possible by excluding these top 8 allergens, we do cook with other ingredients that some individuals may be allergic to such as seeds, coconut, or other food allergens.
Please note that while we take every precaution to minimize risk, we cannot guarantee against cross-contamination. If you have an allergy to any of the common ingredients we use such as coconut, seeds or other items not listed above we would unfortunately not be able to offer our service, purely out of concern for your safety. In those cases, we recommend either working with a service that is completely free of your specific allergens or preparing meals at home to ensure full control and peace of mind.
How long do your meals stay fresh?
Our meals stay fresh for 4 days once delivered.
Can I freeze my meals?
Absolutely! We suggest freezing the meals in sealed containers to guarantee freshness if you aren't going to eat them within 4 days.
Why does it say I don’t have an active subscription when I try to select meals?
This usually happens when you’re logged in using a different email address than the one used when signing up.
Try logging out of your account and signing back in using the email address connected to your subscription.
